About Marian Residence Retirement Home
We are proud to be a Catholic Retirement Home in Cambridge, ON. We offer our residents home-cooked meals, medication management, laundry services, and, most importantly, compassionate care.
We were founded in 1986 by Mother Mary Josephine, the foundress of the Sisters of Our Lady Immaculate. Mother visited seniors in their homes and would invite them for tea at the Convent. During these visits, she noticed that many were alone, which inspired her to set up a home.
Today, our responsible team takes care of the spiritual and physical needs of older adults. We serve seniors across Cambridge, Kitchener, Waterloo, Guelph, Hamilton, and Mississauga.
The Marian Residence Retirement Home Difference
One aspect that makes us second to none is that our Catholic identity is at the forefront of our service. It includes organizing weekly adoration and a daily mass that’s celebrated in our on-site Chapel. In addition, we have a dedicated Chaplain who diligently supports all residents.
What also sets us apart is that, as a registered charity, we aim to keep our rent affordable. Our competitive prices, quality, and respectful service have made us successful.
One of our most significant accomplishments has been the foundation of our Home. We started with a small ‘White House,’ which transformed into a spacious two-story building with a forty-eight-room capacity.
Our dream for the future is to continue to grow by swiftly responding to the latest trends that pertain to our Home while implementing innovative technologies.
