My mother stayed at Marian for almost three years and it was a wonderful experience for her and peace of mind for our family. The sisters, PSW staff, Housekeeping and nurses took great care of our mom. The sisters especially provide care with dignity and compassion. It was a plus for my mom to have the opportunity to attend Mass service on site, on a daily basis because her health did not allow her to go on car rides. When my mom's health declined the staff adapted to meet her needs as best as they were able. (Marian is not a long term home but they do as much as they can while they can until LTHC becomes available for the resident). When we had concerns they were addressed immediately and followed through. I also worked at Marian for a while and I can attest that their friendliness is genuine. My father-in-law is also at Marian. When he and the family were in great need of additional care for him Marian was the only residence who took the time to listen to his specific care requirements and welcomed him as part of their Marian family. He even made friends there. Marian Residence has been a blessing to our family.

Marian Residence has been a wonderful home for my dad for almost a year now. The staff is very caring and attentive, always ensuring his needs are met with kindness and respect. The community is very warm and welcoming, every time I visit everyone looks happy to be there. The facilities are very clean and well-maintained, and we feel reassured knowing he’s in such a safe and supportive environment. The home cooked meals are well balanced, tasty and catered to my dad’s needs and requests. The retirement home is situated in a quiet residential neighbourhood with well kept grounds. We couldn’t be more grateful for the excellent care he receives.

The Marian Residence was my Father’s home for the last two years. The staff and the Sisters are wonderful with the residents and the caring he received was very good. I felt supported as well and always welcome.

Marian Residence provides a small homelike atmosphere where you and your loved one are treated like family. Staff promote residents to live and function as independently as possible while providing dignity and respect when their care needs support. Although my mother in law has now passed away, I continue to follow and support the staff there as family.
